I built SpinToRead because every time a friend asked me for a book recommendation, my first question was always: “What’s the last book you actually loved?” The right book depends on where you are, not just what’s popular this week. I write the author guides, series investment guides, and Books Like pages — the stuff that answers “is it worth starting?” and “what do I read after this?” Nonfiction took hold before fiction ever did — psychology, business, how-people-work books — and that’s still visible in how I write about fiction. I care about why something works for a specific reader, not just whether critics liked it. I’ve been reading science fiction and fantasy since I was nine years old and have not slowed down.
